Peel Regional Police say on June 9 around 1:30 a.m., four suspects – aged 17, 16, 15 and 14 – allegedly forced their way into a home in the area of McLaughlin Road and Derry Road in Mississauga while the victim was sleeping upstairs.

Cops say the suspects entered a bedroom where one pointed a firearm at the victim and demanded keys to the vehicle parked in the driveway.

Once they were able to obtain the keys forcefully, the suspects drove off with the vehicle.

Authorities say three hours later, the same four suspects allegedly forced their way into a second residence near Financial Drive and Mississauga Road in Brampton.

Armed with a firearm, the suspects demanded keys for a luxury car parked outside and fled the area in the victim’s vehicle.

None of the victims involved sustained any physical injuries.

Shortly after the second home invasion, Peel Regional Police Patrol Officers and Peel Tactical Unit found the suspects a short distance away in Brampton.

Police say three of the suspects forced their way into a nearby home to hide but all were taken into custody.

All four suspects have been charged with two counts each of robbery disguise with intent and use of an imitation firearm.

Three of the four suspects have also been charged with break and enter with intent to commit.

At the time of the arrest, the 15-year-old was bound by a previous court order stemming from charges of assault and uttering threats and as a result has been charged with failing to comply with a release order.

Police anticipate more charges could be laid.
