A look at Monday’s weather by Environment Canada.

It’s 7 C  at the Edmonton Blatchford weather station with 8 km/h winds out of the northwest.

We’ll be starting our week with the potential mix of all different type of weather. It’s expected to only reach a high of 12 C, and while there will be some sun, there is a chance of a thunderstorm late this afternoon. The winds will also be gusting, up to 40 km/h this morning.

It sure has been windy over the last week. There is also a risk of frost this evening as the temperature is expected to drop to just 4 C.

But, if we can get through the mixed bag of weather on Monday, we will be able to enjoy lots of sunshine for the rest of the week, reaching highs of 27 C and 28 C this weekend.

Time to get out the sunscreen. Can we say summer’s here?
