A look at Wednesday’s weather by Environment Canada.
It’s 11 C at the Edmonton Blatchford weather station with 11 km/h winds out of the west northwest.
On Tuesday as I was driving on the Anthony Henday, a lightning bolt struck the road a few meters ahead of me! It was a harrowing experience, but thankfully no one was hit or or injured!
Wednesday is going to be another wet, windy, and thunderous spring day. We’ll see showers throughout the day, with a risk of thunderstorms in the afternoon and roughly 5 mm of rainfall expected, winds gusting to 50 km/h, and a high of 15 C. The winds and showers will continue overnight. The clouds will part somewhat on Thursday, with a high of 20 C and intermittent sunshine to hopefully dry us all off before we get more showers on Friday.
