Saskatoon police are hunting for a man seen on video attacking another man with a machete on Friday.
In a news release, police said officers were called to the 900 block of 22nd Street West around 7:20 a.m. on May 31, after receiving reports of an assault.
Police found a 44-year-old man serious injuries at a separate location and he was taken to hospital.
Police said video evidence from the original scene showed the victim being assaulted with a machete. As a result of the video, they are searching for a man wearing black pants, a black hat, and a black sweater with a red Chicago Bulls jersey over top.
The Serious Assault Unit is continuing to investigate.
