One person is dead and two others have been taken to hospital after a crash on Highway 10 in Surrey on Monday afternoon.
The crash happened at around 4:40 p.m. when an Acura sedan, travelling westbound on Highway 10, tried to turn left onto 184 Street and was struck by a Dodge Ram pickup truck.

The passenger of the Acura was declared dead at the scene while both drivers were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Surrey RCMP and B.C. emergency workers attended the crash scene.
The investigation is still in its early stages but alcohol has been ruled out as a contributing factor.
