Bank robber
This week, Finance Minister Freeland presented her budget for the Trudeau government. I thought that PM Trudeau would enter the House of Commons dressed up as a bank robber. After all, all he is doing is stealing from the people.

Bring out the clowns
Well it’s just about round up time partners. The countdown is on for the Calgary Stampede Parade. I’m just wondering if real clowns will be in the parade this year and not fake clowns like Justin Trudeau in an urban cowboy hat. Playing Mr. Dress Up seems to be this prime minister’s favourite game. Real cowboys and people who actually live on farms must be horrified when a troupe of Ottawa clowns take to the streets of Calgary in full costume and arrogance with no shovel to clean-up behind them

Citizens earned voting rights
Walcott and his ilk need to stop trying to disenfranchise the people of Calgary with what amounts to nonsense. You get to vote because you are a citizen, and therefore you have a vested interest in your nation, province, or city. Allowing anyone who is not a citizen to have sway in any election is wrong. Regardless of your motivation, being a citizen shows commitment and you sit on the side-lines until you’ve taken the oath of citizenship… Otherwise you are just a tourist.

Unfair request
The AUPE claims its members have concerns and struggles to afford everyday life. This is likely true, but the pie in the sky wage increase demands seem to defy awareness. Those non union Albertans that have to pay for those wage increases are having the same concerns and struggles to afford everyday life. Try to find those terms in the private sector if you think they are realistic. Or vote in better union leaders who won’t shovel out this type of demand but ask for something fair.

Enough already
If I hear one more word about that eclipse, I’m going to have another blackout!
