Police say they are investigating after finding a man deceased at an off-road vehicle accident in a township southwest of Ottawa.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) says that at around 3:30 p.m. first responders were called to a trail north of Cleveland Road in Tudor and Cashel Township on Saturday.

Police say a side-by-side off-road vehicle left the trail and rolled over in deep water.

The 65-year-old man from Prince Edward County was freed from the vehicle but pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
