A rollover crash on busy 36th Street in northeast Calgary is snarling weekend traffic.
Emergency crews headed to the scene near 36th Street N.E. and 12th Avenue N.E. just after noon, where a multi-vehicle crash blocked multiple southbound lanes of the roadway.

Police on scene confirmed that there were no serious injuries as a result of the crash. However, firefighters had to extricate one person trapped in the flipped vehicle.
Traffic is significantly backed up in the area.
The southbound lanes of 36 Street are closed in the area, including the ramp from 16th Avenue.
