With their fourth game in as many days, the Blue Jays opted for a dramatically different looking lineup for Sunday’s series finale with the Tampa Bay Rays.

The biggest move was necessitated by the scratch of usually durable shortstop Bo Bichette, who was sidelined with what the team is calling neck spasms. Bichette was replaced by Ernie Clement, who started at third base on Saturday.

Elsewhere in the lineup, Justin Turner made his first start at third base, Isiah Kiner-Falefa started at second and the outfield was an all-new configuration with Davis Schneider in left, Daulton Varsho in centre and Cavan Biggio in third.

On the mound, starter Kevin Gausman was making his first start of the season for the Jays, who dropped two of the first three games of the season-opening season.
