City police have located a burned out Ford F-250 truck believed to be connected to the drive-by shooting on Sunday that seriously injured a 33-year-old man.

On Tuesday evening, officers found the wreckage of the pickup truck near 64 Street and 176 Avenue, police said in a Wednesday news release.

Investigators are looking for tips to identify the owner of the dark grey truck, believed to be a 2017-2020 Ford F-250. The truck also has distinctive after-market rims.

The burned truck matches the description of a dark grey Ford F-250 seen fleeing the scene of the shooting on 124 Street and 110 Avenue around 12:55 p.m. Sunday.

The victim was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening gunshot injuries, police said Monday.
