The Wrangler Rubicon 392 will indeed be a future classic. Jeeps, especially Wranglers, hold value better than a lot of other cars on the market, and the already limited nature of the 392 powerplant will only add to that. Any Final Editions that go up for auction a few years from now will likely only go up in value.

Stellantis says that only 3,700 Final Edition 392 Wranglers are leaving the factory before the HEMI leaves the Wrangler for good later this year. The collectability is further bolstered by the fact that the Final Edition starts at $99,995. It isn’t cheap now, and it probably won’t ever be cheap in the future.

Price tag aside, it’s likely a little disheartening to muscle car fans and Jeep acolytes to see the HEMI depart another vehicle, never to return. The new EVs from Stellantis look exciting for sure, but it will be difficult to fill the 392-cubic inch void left in the hearts of V8 diehards.
