The RCMP major crimes unit is investigating after human remains were found near the community of Clairmont on Thursday.
Police in Grande Prairie responded to a report of found human remains at Range Road 55, south of Township Road 730, just outside of Clairmont, police said in a Sunday afternoon news release.

Upon investigation, RCMP identified the remains as Echer Marcial, a 34-year-old man from Grande Prairie.
