Slash brings his love of the Blues and his desire to help lift marginalized communities along with his solo S.E.R.P.E.N.T. Festival tour to Caesars Windsor July 27.
S.E.R.P.E.N.T. Festival, an anagram that stands for Solidarity, Engagement, Restore, Peace, Equality N’ Tolerance, kicks off July 5 in Bonner, Montana, following the release of Slash’s sixth solo album, Orgy of the Damned, on May 17.

The Grammy-winning, British-American guitarist and songwriter, who is also a member of the band Guns N’ Roses, will be joined by Keb’Mo, ZZ Ward and Robert Randolph, for a celebration of the Blues on The Colosseum stage.
S.E.R.P.E.N.T. Festival supports several charities, including the Equal Justice Initiative, Know Your Rights Camp, The Greenlining Institute and War Child, ensuring that one dollar from every ticket sold directly contributes to these causes.
The organizations are dedicated to advancing justice, equity and the well-being of communities around the world.
“The S.E.R.P.E.N.T. tour is a celebration of Blues and Rock ‘N’ Roll music, and a celebration of unity and togetherness in these uncertain and divisive times,” said SLASH in a news release.
“S.E.R.P.E.N.T. is a vehicle to help support and uplift people and communities suffering from the injustices of racism and equal rights violations, as well as to support children adversely affected by war and poverty across the world.”
Showtime is 6:30 p.m.
Tickets on sale Friday at 10 a.m., through caesarswindsor.com or ticketmaster.ca. The Caesars Windsor box office is open Fridays and Saturdays from noon to 8 p.m. and on show days from noon to 10 p.m.
Guests must be 19 years of age or older to attend concerts and to enter the casino and all other outlets.
