A widespread power outage across the province has affected over 60,000 customers according to Nova Scotia Power (NSP) on Saturday.
“An interruption in the transmission line going to New Brunswick has required our team to interrupt power to our customers in various parts of the province,” wrote NSP in a post on social media.
“We are working as quickly as possible to restore power, and apologize for the inconvenience.”
The issue happened around 11 a.m. on Saturday.
As of noon, most customers had their power turned back on.
