Windsor police foiled a commercial break and enter early Thursday morning in South Windsor, crediting a quick response time.
Officers responded just after 2 a.m. to a security alarm at a business in the 400 block of Kennedy Drive West.

Upon arrival, they spotted an individual allegedly attempting to flee from the property. He was taken into custody without incident.
Police said they recovered several stolen items, including clothing and alcohol.
A 29-year-old Windsor man has been charged with break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence.
