Windsor police are asking for help to identify a suspect following an assault in the Ford City neighbourhood.
Police said they responded Feb. 7 at 11 a.m. to a report of two males fighting in the 1800 block of Drouillard Road.

They found a 35-year-old man with a laceration to his left hand.
Officers learned that the man’s wallet and passport were stolen from his vehicle that morning and when the man found out his bank card was used at a convenience store he went to confront the person using the card.

The two men “engaged in a physical altercation” according to police and during the scuffle it’s alleged the suspect pulled a knife and the other man was cut.
The suspect fled on a bicycle.
He is described as a white male with a slender build, blonde hair and a moustache and beard, was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
