John Felton, a member of Amazon’s senior leadership team who most recently helped lead the company’s logistics operations, took a new role as senior vice president and CFO of Amazon Web Services.
- Felton has served in a variety of finance and operations roles in 19 years at the company, most recently as senior vice president of worldwide operations, reporting to Doug Herrington, CEO of Worldwide Amazon Stores.
- “This is definitely a bittersweet email for me because I have loved my time in Operations,” Felton wrote in a memo to employees, shared on Amazon’s blog. He’ll replace Richard Puccio, who is reportedly leaving the company.
- Udit Madan, another longtime Amazon logistics exec who most recently led global delivery services, is replacing Felton.
