Disney’s centennial feature Wish—which is currently making the awards-season rounds—is coming to digital January 23. The fairy tale that pays tribute to Disney’s animated legacy also gets a physical release on Blu-ray March 12.

io9 has an exclusive deleted scene clip featuring Star, Asha (Ariana DeBose), and friends making a dark discovery. Originally, the film’s lead had more than seven friends—there was another one who gets taken during the film after having their dream dashed by King Magnifico (Chris Pine), who isn’t the benevolent ruler he pretends to be. Check out the clip below, which shows more of the king’s true nature.

Anyone else think the additional friend sounds a lot like Frozen’s Jonathan Groff? While the clip does a good job of showing more of Star’s powers to restore wishes, it does feel like keeping it in would have made the movie drag on instead of getting to the last act efficiently. Considering that this clip originally took place when the queen was in cahoots with Magnifico—and while it would have been interesting to see a badass evil power couple—it being on the cutting room floor makes sense.

Wish releases on digital January 23 and Blu-ray March 12.
