who departed in September 2022 after 14 years, is now leaving the company’s board of directors. Sandberg, who announced her departure in a Facebook post, will become an informal adviser to the company in May. “With a heart filled with gratitude and a mind filled with memories, I let the Meta board know that I will not stand for reelection this May,” Sandberg wrote on Facebook.
