Vladimir Putin has warned that the US and UK are Russia’s “enemy” which is “justification” to keep his forces mobilised in Ukraine.

Next month is the second anniversary of Putin’s war in Ukraine and the Russian leader said that the West are the real enemy.

Putin has claimed that the US and UK are seeking to destroy “Russian statehood” as they are sending vast amounts of weapons to Ukraine in an attempt to cause Moscow a “strategic defeat.”

Putin ‘humiliated’ as ‘the world has turned its back’ on him as there is no place in it for Russia

Putin has claimed that Ukraine is “not our enemy” and warned that the West “are our enemy.”

Putin added, “The point is not that they (the West) are helping our enemy. They are our enemy.

“They are solving their own problems with their hands. That is what it is all about.

“Unfortunately, this has been the case for centuries and continues to be the case today.”

Analysis by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), said, “Putin’s statements likely suggest that he is preparing a long-term justification to keep forces mobilised and engaged in combat for the perpetual defence of Russia’s sovereignty against the West.”
