Maersk suspends Red Sea transit until further notice after attack on ship

Danish shipping giant AP Moeller-Maersk said it would suspend all transit through the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden until further notice following the December 30 attack on its ship Maersk Hangzhou.

The shipping company said on Tuesday that an investigation into the incident was ongoing and that some vessels would be changed and continue their journey around the Cape of Good Hope in South Africa.
